MIL told us, she being darling's Ah Ma, must definitely buy for gal a nice dress and shoe for her birthday..so we went shopping today (sunday) at Orchard..we took a cab, and headed to Isetan Scott..Me & hb had wanted to get a Burberry dress for darling and we had plan to buy for her for the coming CNY..so we told MIL about it..
We went to see the Burberry counter there, and found a nice dress and shoe..the shoe itself cost $270, which we find its too ex, and not really practical, cos she will out-grown it soon and wont wear it for long..not a good investment..haha, practical mummy..
So we didnt buy, and went for hi-tea instead at Orchard Hotel..both me n hb love their buffet lunch and environment (cos not too many ppl)..unlike Carousel, who is always sooo crowded..so we brought MIL to Ochard Hotel for hi-tea..sad to say their hi-tea isn't fantastic and not many choices..so we felt its not really worth the $$..
Me fed darling cereal there and she finished within 10min..tats a good gal I tink, and after awhile she slept inside her stroller..which gave us time to enjoy our buffet..
After that we went to Takashimaya..and we went to feed gal milk milk first in their nursery room..spoke to few mummies in there..its fun knowing their bbs and chatting on all bb stuff thingy..I really love being a mother now and bringing my gal out during our family outing day..Its so much fun..a fulfilling feel that I have not experience before..
Then we contd strolling round, and we saw a Ralph Lauren red & blue stripe dress which caught our eyes..but cos its short sleeve, so that kinda gave us some hesitation..we wanted something long sleeve so that gal wont feel cold inside The Noble House, her celebration venue..then I told MIL that I still prefer the Burberry dress we saw earlier at Isetan Scott..MIL then said she also like tat..and she decided to buy that for gal gal...(she really doted on her this grand-daughter)
Lucky they have 1 counter at Takashimaya too..so we went and bought it for gal..so nice nice mann...I love it..and we too bought a shoe for darling at Taka too..with that, we ended out mission happily..
